Welcome to my website. This past January I filed to run for the new Woodlands Township Board. I've enjoyed serving the residents of The Woodlands over the past decade as your representative on The Woodlands Community Association Board; I’ve been directly involved in so many things that I’m proud of and would like to continue my work to keep the hometown vision alive.
As your representative on the Township board I will insure that our tax dollars are used effectively to make The Woodlands an even greater place to live, work and raise kids. My focus is to insure that the interests of the residents are met.
The safety of our residents is of utmost importance, I plan to continue to build on law enforcement and fire safety improvements as well as improved mobility and high-quality maintenance of our parks, pathways and pools.

Karen believes it is ‘quality of life’ that draws people to live in The Woodlands and makes us want to stay here, and she is dedicated to preserving that quality.
Volunteering as a leader and facilitator for many numerous community based organizations and events, Karen was recognized as a Hometown Hero in 2001.
As a resident of The Woodlands since 1988 Karen has served the community in many capacities:
During her years of service to the community, Karen has accomplished many things to improve and maintain the quality of life for residents of The Woodlands.
Serving as an elementary school educator for more than thirty years, Karen has earned numerous awards for her dedication to quality and community service.
There are many ways in which you can assist with campaign efforts for Karen ranging from donating funds for compaign activities to active involvement as a campaign volunteer.
