As a resident of The Woodlands since 1988 Karen has served the community in many capacities:

★Served as President of Panther Creek Village Association for 2 years

★As Woodlands Community Association Director has served on the Joint Budget, Law Enforcement, Communications, and Legislative Action Committee

★An original governance process leader and has been a passionate advocate for improving mobility in our growing community. She has been the WCA’s liaison to the South County Chamber of Commerce Mobility Committee for the past 6 years

★Integral member of the South County 4th of July Committee and led the group to the largest parade in Montgomery County

★Served as the WCA liaison to the Lake Woodlands Property Owners Association
