| What are your long and short term goals for The Woodlands? |

My long term goals include focusing on obtaining enforcement for covenants; ordinance authority; and to look at how we, as a Township, can have the control of our law enforcement. These will all take some time, but I believe it is important for the residents as we move forward. My immediate goals would be the transition of services. I know many residents have questions as to who is going to take over these services and how long this process will take. This is something that the new Township Board will need to address in the near future. I would also like an overview of the service contracts we have in place, and look at the scope of these contracts, to ensure we are not duplicating providers. Most importantly, we must, as a new Township Board, educate ourselves, our staff and the residents of our hometown on the delivery of services. It is time for our community to come together, and I feel I can help do that. It is time that we focus on the strengths of our residents as well as the commercial sector. |
